Ghost is a peer-to-peer chat app. Messages hop straight from your phone to theirs through end-to-end encrypted tunnel, no accounts, no phone numbers, nothing kept in the middle. Coming to iOS as an invite-only TestFlight beta — join the waitlist for early access.

On the same network, Ghost finds your contact automatically over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Anywhere else, you scan a QR code once and the phones connect directly — no signaling server, no relay, no account in the path.
02
A mutually-authenticated X3DH handshake sets up a Double Ratchet session — the same core as Signal. Every message is sealed with ChaCha20-Poly1305 under a key used once and then deleted, so earlier messages stay safe even if a key is later exposed.
03
No email, no phone number, no profile. Your identity is an Ed25519 key generated on-device and stored only in the iOS Keychain. Verify a contact by comparing a safety number or scanning in person — then keep your key, or burn it and start over.
There's no server to subpoena, no log to request, no contact graph to sell. Ghost never learns who you talk to, when, or from where — the network only sees encrypted noise passing between peers. Delete the app and even that is gone.
The same primitives as Signal, implemented on-device with no third-party dependencies. Every claim here is spelled out in the security model.
Ghost is launching on iOS soon. Leave an email and we'll send a TestFlight invite when your spot opens — it's the only thing we'll ever ask you for, and we won't keep it a moment longer than the invite.
Full disclosure:the waitlist is the one place any data is handled, and it's part of this website — not the Ghost app. When you join, the email you enter is collected and stored by Clerk, our sign-up provider, on our behalf — solely so we can send you one TestFlight invite. We never use it for marketing or analytics, never sell or share it, and delete it once your invite is sent. Ask us to remove it sooner any time at ghost@gaithano.com. The Ghost app itself still has no servers and collects nothing — see the Privacy Policy.
